Except for hire R.E.A.L. Fun will provide sufficient staff to meet recommended ratios for each particular activity except for hire.
All staff is provided to lead the activity programs and is well trained in facilitating outdoor activities and leading adventure experiences.
Specialist support staff can be employed as needed for specific activities. We promote a ‘Challenge By Choice' philosophy as developed and advocated by Project Adventure Inc. This enables all participants on a R.E.A.L. FUN program to choose their level of involvement in any given activity. Nobody is forced to do anything they don't want to do. Challenge by choice is about creating a safe learning environment for participants to step out and take challenges, in an atmosphere of care and support. It is more than just saying yes or no to participating in an activity. At R.E.A.L. FUN we aim to not only empower participants to make appropriate decisions, but also to encourage each individual to just "give it a go".
