This is the latest conference activity. Feel the wind through your hair as you cycle around the lake. From the attraction of the Parliamentary Triangle to scenic pine forests, wetlands and Canberra's own cork plantation. The cycle paths meander around the lake making it an enjoyable and relaxing experience. We guarantee you a great time on the bike.
Choose from 2 hour or 3 – 3 ½ hour tour.
Meeting place: National Convention Centre, Regatta Point or a location of your choosing.
Tour 1: 1 ½ - 2 hours.
Graded: Easy
After a short ride around the Parliamentary Triangle and Canberra's major attractions. We head out along Dairy Flat to the Jerrabomberra wetlands. Our return journey passes by the National Gallery, High Court, Questacon, Reconciliation Place and the National Library.
Your Investment: $65 per person (minimum group size 6)
Tour 2: 3 – 3 ½ hours.
Graded: Easy to moderate
You start the ride along the northern shores of Lake Burley Griffin. Cycling past the National Museum, Canberra Cork Plantation, Scrivener dam, the National Zoo and aquarium and Government House. Along the way we stop for morning or afternoon tea under the trees overlooking the lake.
We then return along the Southern Shores past the Yacht club and if time allows you will be able to enjoy the short ride around the Parliamentary Triangle and Canberra's major attractions before heading back to the Convention Centre or Regatta Point.
