FAQ

“Just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you very much for organising our rafting trip.

Both myself and Bobbie, had such an excellent time. The whole experience was well worth it, from the actual rafting experience, to the great variety and quality of the food provided and not to mention the company of the excellent guides.

Please extend our heart-felt thanks and gratitude to all who were involved in making our weekend possible.

You can be assured that we will recommend REAL FUN to our friends, family and acquaintances.

Once again, thank you so very much”

Warmest regards,
Adrian and Bobbie-Beth

How do I book onto a trip?

Check the trip calendar or call our office to find out what trips are available. If you have a group of 8 or more we can schedule a trip at any time for you. You will need to return a $50 deposit per person with your booking form, to confirm a space on any trip. The balance is required 1 week prior to trip departure. Payment can be made by personal cheque, money order, bank cheque or credit card.

Can I give a gift voucher?

Unsure what to give someone? Give them an adventure gift voucher. Vouchers can be made out for specific trips or can be made for a specific dollar amount. The recipient can then redeem it on any of our scheduled trips. Ask our office for a form or you can download one from the website.

Do I need any previous Adventure experience?

No. All our trips cater for the absolute novice to the very experienced.

Do I need to be able to swim on rafting and canoeing trips?

No. The high-buoyancy life-jackets (PFDs) and helmets you wear, protect you if you fall in the river. Whilst we recommend swimming ability, we have taken dozens of non-swimmers. Please state your swimming ability on the back of the booking form.

We encourage a reasonable level of fitness, as it will add to the enjoyment of your adventure but many people join us from behind a desk and have a great time.

While there is an inherent element of risk in every adventure activity, trips with our professional guides should not be considered dangerous. Your guides all have training and experience well beyond that required by the relevant licensing agencies. Our safety record is outstanding and all our guides are qualified in rescue and first aid. We have contingency plans for each trip should evacuation or medical attention be necessary.
